It is my intent to live a life of gratitude and I love to dwell on what the Lord has done for me. Blessings abound and it is quite lovely to take note of them in a deliberate way. I always look forward to writing my Thankful Thursday post and listing some of those blessings one by one.
Here are just a few of the things I am thankful for today.
:: Fresh veggies from the market. (as I look forward to our garden....)
:: Iced green tea, with just a hint of sweetness.
:: The Valentine's Candy is gone. (I enjoyed it.... a little too much, perhaps!)
:: Joyful Noise. Our bustling farm is rarely quiet.
:: Cream lines. Matilda's milk has been amazingly creamy lately. (butter!)
:: My Bosch. My often used "kitchen servant" I would not want to be without.
:: Books. Oh, finding a bit of time to read is a wonderful thing!
:: Exercising to home videos with my children. And laughing as we do.
:: Going to make the bed and discovering that someone else already did!
:: And for my simple life at home.... I am thankful.
One of my favorite verses is Romans 8:28. It says, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God." (KJV) All things. A lovely thought to ponder, yes? A truth that brings peace and leads to prayers of thanksgiving all day long....

Joyful noise and a simple life, indeed! Today I am thankful for children who are honest...who had every opportunity NOT to be...and still WERE. :)
I am thankful for God providing His So Jesus to pay my sin debt.
I am thankful for my wife and children.
I am thankful for His provision.
